Moodle will be unavailable on Friday, March 12th between 5:00-8:15 P.M. for maintenance purposes
Most courses require users to have the ability to open Microsoft Office files (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). If you do not currently have Microsoft Office, there are a few options available:
- Download the Microsoft viewers so that you are able to open and read Office files.

- Purchase discounted Microsoft products through JourneyEd.com. These highly discounted prices are available to PA students and teachers. (Discount Information)

- "FREE" Download OpenOffice so that you can read Office files and create/edit Microsoft Office and compatible files.
The Solanco School District is suggesting these as possible options to help simplify student and family use of Moodle courses. We are unable to support these products in the homes and recommend each family determine the best solution for their individual needs.
