Welcome to Sixth Grade Language Arts! This is a course that emcompasses many areas in the Langauage Arts curriculum. The students will be exposed to a variety of literature through our extensive reading program. Through writing, students will generate several formal writing the follow the PSSA guidelines and writing domains. Students will also have the opportunity to demonstrate their individual spelling skills through weekly lessons and challenge lessons. Finally the students will be experience the various parts of speech through our daily grammar work and daily edit practice.
