CLEP Test Information
The CLEP test is a test given by the college board that will allow an individual to receive college credit in approximately 34 different subjects through the taking and passing of a multiple choice test.
Information can be found on the website below. Students are encouraged to check with their college or university before registering for a test.
During the school year 2004-2005, 12 Solanco students took the CLEP test in College Algebra and ALL 12 passed the exam with a total of 36 credits earned! In addition, 3 of those students took and passed the English Composition exam earning 6 additional credits a piece. Subsequent years have seen an additional 6 students receive credit.
Any student interested in taking the CLEP test should contact their math teacher, Ms. Lloyd, or Mrs. Herr.
